Just after 8am this morning 8 August, Police responded to a single vehicle collision on Crewe Road, George Town.

A man from George Town was riding a motorcycle when he lost control of the vehicle and collided in a wall. The rider of the motor cycle is believed to have received serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the George Town Hospital.

The motorcycle was extensively damaged as a result of the accident and the wall has minor damage. The roadway was partially blocked at the time of the accident, but it is now cleared.
