A man has been charged and is due to appear in court later today in connection with a shooting incident which occurred outside Club 7 last week.

He has been charged with common assault, attempted murder x 2, unlawful use of a firearm and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

The charges related to an incident outside Club 7 on the morning of Wednesday 22 February 2012, where two men were injured.

It is anticipated that the man will appear in court later this morning.
