News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. Nov. 6, 2017: A Caribbean island that was spared the wrath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria was on Sunday shaken by an earthquake.

A quake of with a magnitude of 5.7 on the seismic scale and with a depth of 45 km occurred south east of Grenada Sunday, according to the UWI Seismic Research Center.

The quake was located at 11.83°N and 61.06°W and was also reportedly felt across several islands from Trinidad and Tobago to Guadeloupe as well as St. Vincent and Grenadines.

On Facebook, both Colleen Chance, Ashley Bryant and Gealta Langley reported feeling the quake around 11a.m. Sunday but said there were no reports of damages.
