Cuban migrants land in Cayman Brac
The Department of Immigration (DOI) has confirmed that three Cuban migrants landed in Cayman Brac on Monday, 4 December 2017 after their makeshift vessel crashed.
The three males suffered minor injuries, but their vessel was a complete loss.
The group is currently in immigration custody in Cayman Brac and awaiting transfer to Grand Cayman.
To date there are 26 Cuban migrants in Immigration custody that are housed at the Immigration Detention Centre.
