Aggravated Burglary in Prospect, 31 January

Shortly after 9:30PM yesterday, 31 January, officers responded to a report of an aggravated burglary at a residence on Prospect Point Road. Two masked men entered the home and threatened the occupants with what appeared to be a knife and a crow bar, demanding money. They then made off with a quantity of cash and other personal items. No one was injured in the incident. Officers attended the scene and made checks in the area but did not locate anyone matching the descriptions given.
The suspects are both described as being about 5’10”-5’11” in height and were wearing full masks and gloves.
This incident is being investigated by officers from George Town CID and police are appealing for anyone who may have any relevant information to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
