The man, age 26 of George Town, who was arrested on Friday, 20 April, in relation to reckless riding which took place during the illegal motorbike event, named “Ride of the Century,” last November (see previous release), has now been formally charged with the following offenses: Riding Without Insurance, Using a Motorcycle without a Certificate of Roadworthiness, Using a Vehicle Required to be Registered, Dangerous Driving (Manner), Failing to Comply with a Lawful Signal Given by a Constable, Reckless and Negligent Act, and Riding without a Helmet.

He has been bailed to appear in court on 18 June.
