UPDATE:Further to the link below, the roadway has been cleared and is now open for public use. 

The RCIPS would like to thank the public for their cooperation. 

The police are urging the public to be cautious when driving in the East End District today Saturday, 26 May.

Due to high winds, power lines have come down on the roadway and the police have blocked off areas on Seaview Road near the intersection of High Rock Road. This is due to the power lines being live and unsafe.

Police are asking road users that if they can all avoid this area to do so until further notice. Roadworks on these power lines can be expected throughout the day.

A notification will be send out once the road is safe to be used.
