2018 Cayman Airways Under 15 Tournament starts this week
Group A, which consists of the Cayman Islands Boy’s Under 15 National Team, the Jamaica Under 15 Boy’s National Team, Portmore United from Jamaica and DC United from the United States, will be played at the Ed Bush Sports Field.
On Tuesday, May 29, the Cayman Islands Under 15 Boy’s National Team face their Jamaican counterparts – the Jamaica Under 15 Boy’s National Team at 6:00 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m., Portmore United play host to DC United.
On Wednesday, May 30, the Jamaica Under 15 Boy’s National Team face Portmore United at 6:00 p.m. and the Cayman Islands Under 15 Boy’s National Team play DC United at 7:30 p.m.
On Thursday, May 31, the Cayman Islands Under 15 Boy’s National Team play Portmore United at 6:00 p.m. while at 7:30 p.m., the Jamaica Under 15 Boy’s National Team face DC United.
Group B, which includes defending champions the Cuba Under 15 Boy’s National Team, San Antonio FC from the United States and Harbour View FC and Mount Pleasant Academy from Jamaica, will be played in Cayman Brac
On Tuesday, May 29, the Cuba Under 15 Boy’s National Team go up against Mount Pleasant Academy at 6:00 p.m. and Harbour View FC face San Antonio FC at 7:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, May 30, Harbour View FC face Mount Pleasant Academy in the early game at 6:00 p.m. and the Cuba Under 15 Boy’s National Team play San Antonio FC at 7:30 p.m.
On Thursday, May 31, San Antonio FC play Mount Pleasant Academy at 6:00 p.m. and the Cuba Under 15 Boy’s National Team take on Harbour View FC in the finale at 7:30 p.m.
The winners and runners-up in each group advance to the semi finals on Friday, June 1, where the winner of Group A meets the runners-up in Group B at 6:00 p.m. and the winners of Group B face the runners-up in Group A at 7:30 p.m. Both semi finals are scheduled to be played at the Ed Bush Sports Field in West Bay.
On Saturday, June 2, the two semi final winners will meet at 7:30 p.m. to crown the 2018 champions and prior to the championship game, the two semi final losers will play for third place at 6:00 p.m. The third place and championship games will be played at the Ed Bush Sports Field.
The Cayman pubic is encouraged to come out and show their support for the Cayman Islands Under 15 Boy’s National Team as well as the tournament in general.
Tickets are $7.00 per person if tickets are purchased for only one night and $5.00 per person if tickets are purchased for more than one night.
