From RCIPS May 31 2018

Shortly after 12:00PM on Tuesday, 29 May, Community Police Officers in Beat 8 – George Town, conducted an operation at a restaurant on Eastern Avenue. While at the location they observed a woman who they suspected to be facilitating illegal gambling. The officers conducted a search and found ticket books and cash on her person and nearby. The woman, age 36 of George Town, was subsequently arrested on suspicion of illegal gambling. She is currently on bail as investigations continue.
