News Americas, MIAMI, FL8: Caribbean singer turned entrepreneur and actress, Rihanna, is part of the sequel of sorts to the Ocean’s franchise, Ocean’s 8, which opened in theaters Fri (8).

RiRi was among the movie’s all-female cast including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson and Awkwafina, who graced the premier this week at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall.

Rihanna showed up looking flawless as ever in a ruffled metallic purple one-shoulder Givenchy gown paired with strappy purple heels, a BVLGARI watch and earrings, and a jeweled purple clutch.

The Bajan star plays a dread locked hacker known as Nine Ball in the heist flick.

Sarah Paulson told Us, “Rihanna is not who you think she’s going to be at first.”

“She’s this amazing performer and energy when you see her on stage or screen, but in person, she’s — I would never use the word shy to describe her — but she has a reserved temperament on our set,” Paulson added. “She was morequiet. She’s also so much fun and totally game for anything and excited to be there, but, very mellow.”

The film is set around Bullock’s character Debbie Ocean who enlists the help of seven women for her heist with the mission to take down Daphne Kluger, played by Anne Hathaway, with their goal being to steal a $150 million diamond necklace that belongs to Kluger as she attends the Met Gala in New York City.
