Further to the below, North Sound Road was cleared at approximately 3:30PM, and it can further be confirmed that a Cayman Islands Fire Service vehicle was involved in the collision.
The collision is under police investigation.

Accident at Shedden/North Sound Road Intersection
GRAND CAYMAN (GIS) – The Ministry of Home Affairs has confirmed that a Cayman Islands Fire Service (CIFS) officer was involved in the collision at the intersection of Shedden Road and North Sound Road this afternoon (Tuesday, 19 June 2018).
The Ministry deployed an independent qualified accident reconstructionist to the scene, and can confirm that the Fire Service is committed to working with him and personnel from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) to ensure that the matter is investigated thoroughly to establish the cause of the crash.

Police and emergency personnel are in the course of responding to an MVA at the intersection of Shedden Road and North Sound Road in central George Town where a grey SUV is turned on its side, blocking easterly traffic along North Sound Road. The road is partially blocked at this time, but police hope to clear the road shortly.
One person was taken to hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
