George Town, CAYMAN ISLANDS 24 August 2018

The Cayman Islands Soft Ball Association (CISA) has been designated to host the annual Nicaragua International Softball Tournament (NIST) from August 31st through September 2nd, 2018 at the Field of Dreams, games will kick off at 4:00pm.

The opening ceremony will be held on Saturday September 1st, 2018 at 10am.

CISA has been participating in NIST since the mid 1980’s and the Cayman Islands hosted the tournament in 2009. We are delighted to be given the opportunity to host it again this year.

There will be both all-male and all-female teams playing. Cayman teams will be competing against international teams from the USA and Nicaragua. Teams from the USA participating in the tournament include New York, Washington, Florida and California. Participating Nicaragua teams include Bluefield, Corn Island and Puerto Cabezas.

All are welcome to attend the games and we look forward to seeing you at the Field of Dreams cheering on your favorite teams.

Admission is Free There will be both Local and Latin refreshments on sale.
