On 14 September 2018, the Department for International Tax (“DITC”) announced that the AEOI Portal is online and open for notifications and reporting for all years.

In addition, the DITC updated the section on FATCA IRS Error Notifications. The updated section provides steps and user guide reference for correcting 2016 and 2017 period returns under

FATCA. The deadline for submitting corrected returns is 7 December 2018.

Lastly, it also added a new section on CRS Error Notifications that contains the user guide reference for guidance on submitting CRS corrected returns, if a correction to 2017 CRS return is required.
