Assault GBH of Elderly Woman in West Bay, Arrest Made, 12 October

Yesterday morning, 11 October, officers in West Bay responded to a report of an assault, which had taken place the previous evening, at a residence off Watercourse Road in West Bay. An elderly woman was assaulted by someone known to her during an argument at the residence. She attended the Cayman Islands Hospital yesterday and was treated for a broken hand.

This morning, 12 October, woman, age 33 of West Bay, has been arrested on suspicion of assault GBH in relation to the incident. She is currently on bail as investigations continue.
