Armed Robbery Last Night, 23 November, at Food Truck on Selkirk Drive in Red Bay

Last night, Friday, 23 November, an armed robbery took place at a food truck parked at the top of Selkirk Drive in Prospect.  Just before midnight two masked men dressed in black armed with a firearm approached two employees on the location.  Both employees were assaulted, with one being struck by the firearm, before the men made off with a quantity of cash. It is believed that the culprits left the scene in a vehicle.

Uniform and firearm officers responded to the scene; the employees had received minor injuries and were treated.

Detectives are aware that at least two other persons, believed to be customers, were possibly on scene at the time of the robbery and are asking for them to come forward.
