| Happy New Year! 2019 is set to be just as busy and as exciting as 2018 here at the National Gallery. With new exhibitions, and relevant education programming, alongside volunteer opportunities and events, we hope to see you here and getting involved very soon. Current Exhibitions The current temporary exhibitions on display are: The Photographer is Present: Select photographs from the collection of Ella Latter, curated by our very own Simon Tatum, and TRACES: Activating the Art Curriculum. For more information on each of these exhibitions, please visit our website here. With only a few weeks to go before the next exhibition, make sure you visit us while these are still on. Gallery opening times are 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday. A New Year A New Membership – Have you renewed yours? With the new year underway, it’s a great time to catch up on things that may have been forgotten about over the Christmas rush. With the New Year upon us and plenty of exciting projects in the works for 2019, we encourage new and existing volunteers to become involved this year. Volunteering here at NGCI not only means becoming a member of a wonderful team, but being able to join in behind the scenes of all that goes on here at the Gallery, from exhibitions, to events, to education programmes.
