Cayman Brac District Committee Trust hosts Octopus’s Garden Party
Saturday 26 January, from 6 to 11 P. M., Cayman Brac District Committee of C. I. National Trust will present their Winter Fundraiser – Octopus’s Garden Party benefiting our Habitat Protection Fund. The event will be located at the Brac Trust House off Northside Road at the end of White Bay Road.
Tickets are $25c.i. including food, entertainment, along with a Live and Silent Auction. As well, a Split the Cash Raffle Winner will be announced. Call 916-3960 for availability of all tickets.
Food will include fresh locally caught wahoo and chicken served with assorted sides and desserts and iced tea. Guests wishing to drink alcoholic beverages may bring their own to the function.
Our local D. J. Mark Knowlton will be playing great hits from the 60s/70s playlist for your listening and dancing entertainment. Caymanian and island style music will also be in the mix for a variety of taste.
The Silent Auction has a huge assortment of items useful, decorative and services for home, vehicles, kitchen needs, baby items, books, games, water-sport goods and many more enticing articles. Consider upcoming Valentine’s Day, Birthday, Anniversary and other gift giving occasions for those special family members and friends. Our sponsors have generously contributed to this event to make this a wildly successful fundraiser. Bidding begins promptly at 6 PM closing at 9PM.
Live Auction will start in at 8PM, after the Winner of the Split the Cash Raffle is announced. Tickets available before and at the event (need not be present to win). Prices are 1 for $5 ci or 3 for $10ci.
Some high end headliners in the Live Auction include a Shimano Rod and Reel, Fine Champagne Set, all-inclusive 2 day weekend in Little Cayman, 2 person Sea Kayak, Jewelry and more will be going to the highest bidders.
The event is scheduled on the long Hero’s Day weekend, so if you are joining us in the Brac, please plan your travel arrangements in advance.
