Tickets to the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup in Kansas City’s Children’s Mercy Park to go on sale Friday, January 25
US National Team to round out Group D play in Kansas City on June 26
Miami (Tuesday, January 22, 2019) – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) today announced that tickets for the June 26 Group D doubleheader, featuring the United States National Team, will go on sale this Friday, January 25, at 10 a.m. local time. The 2019 edition marks the third time the continental tournament is played in the Kansas City area, with Gold Cup action previously taking place at the home of Sporting Kansas City in the 2011 and 2015 editions.
Next summer’s expanded Gold Cup, set to kick off on Saturday, June 15, will be the largest Gold Cup in history. Alongside the group doubleheader Kansas City, 14 additional U.S. metropolitan areas, Costa Rica, and one yet-to-be-announced Caribbean venue will welcome the 2019 edition of the tournament this coming summer.

The complete groups and schedule will be announced later this year, once all nations have qualified for the Gold Cup via the Concacaf Nations League Qualifier, with the final round taking place March of 2019. To date, six of the 16 national teams scheduled to participate have qualified for next year’s tournament, those being the countries that participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Hexagonal qualifier round: Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United States.
