The Cayman Islands Cancer Society will be having their annual Stride Against Cancer event on Sunday, 27 January. The event will begin and end at the Seven Mile Public Beach, and participants will travel south on West Bay Road, through North Church Street, Harbour Drive, South Church Street and onto South Sound Road, turning around at Caribbean Paradise and returning to Seven Mile Public Beach via the same route.

In order to facilitate this event, there will be barricades placed on West Bay Road at the entrance to Seven Mile Beach, and on South Sound Road directly in front of Caribbean Paradise, just east of the intersection with Walkers Road, to manage traffic flow, from 6:00AM to 9:00AM.

Motorists travelling along the marathon route on Sunday morning are asked to exercise caution.
