The Cayman Islands National Drug Council urgently needs volunteers
The National Drug Council (NDC) is currently conducting the Cayman Islands Student Drug Use Survey (CISDUS). Cycle six (6) is underway with a full census of the public and private schools grades 7-12.
We urgently need volunteers to assist in this initiative!
• Twenty (20) volunteers are needed on Tuesday 1st May 2012 for one (1) hour in the morning session.
• Fifty (50) volunteers are needed on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 for one (1) hour in the morning session.
The survey aims;
• To gain a better understanding of drug use among middle and high school students in the Cayman Islands;
• To provide a fundamental opportunity for schools, community, private and public entities to develop evidenced-based policies and programmes that are geared towards the needs of our youth.
• To continue in the development and strengthening of prevention programmes and policies; and
• To continue to track changes in alcohol and drug use patterns.
Training is provided for all survey administrators and we welcome all suitable volunteers.
