Cayman: Spring 2020 Labour Force Survey starts Sunday, 8 March 2020
From The Cayman Islands Economics and Statistics Office
The Spring Labour Force Survey (LFS) conducted by the Economics and Statistics Office (ESO) will begin on Sunday, 8 March 2020.
The LFS seeks to collect data on employed and unemployed persons in the Cayman Islands, as well as those who are not in the workforce.
Trained interviewers will administer the surveys to a total of 1,500 randomly selected households for both surveys.
The ESO thanks the households who have already participated in the previous surveys, and is asking for the support of the general public in this Spring 2020 exercise.
The data collected is kept in the strictest confidence as mandated by the Statistics Law (2016 Revision). Individual data will not be published or used outside of the ESO and is exempted from the Freedom of Information Act.
For further information on any aspect of the survey or results of previous surveys, contact the Economics & Statistics Office at 516-3329, 949-0940 or visit www.eso.ky.
