IMF Dem Rep Congo
The President of the Democratic Republic of Congo visited the IMF on Wednesday (March 3) to discuss the African countries economic priorities.
President Felix Tshisekedi was warmly greeted by IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, and they spent an hour together in closed door discussions.
“We discussed the importance of the government taking bold actions to boost revenue, improve governance, and protect social spending, while limiting expenditure to available resources,” said Georgieva in a statement following the meeting.
