Cayman Drama Society: Last call for musical theatre singers, quiz this Saturday!

LAST CHANCE – SINGERS REQUIRED!

PERFORMERS WANTED FOR FUNDRAISING CONCERT!

We are looking at ways to spread some joy online, and get some of our previous performers (and some new ones) involved for our 50th year celebrations.

THE SHOW MUST GO OPPOSITE!
This will be an online concert to fundraise for CDS while our shows are unable to be live.
To be considered, all you need to do is send in a video of you performing a song from a musical theatre show that you would not get cast in usually (so if you are a lady wishing you could play King George in Hamilton, or a gent wanting to be Roxy Hart then this is your moment to shine!!!). It does not need to be a gender switch, if you grew up wanting to play Annie and missed the age window, or if you are a human being but wanted to be in Cats  whatever the twist is – we would love to have you try. You can use props/wigs/dramatic backdrops/musical instruments or just sit at your computer and sing to camera through a webcam with youtube karaoke. Whatever works best. Feel free to team up and split your screen with a friend for a duet.  Get creative, Cayman!

Send your video to our box office at [email protected] and we will create an online concert which we will air on Facebook. **Deadline is Friday 1st May at midday.** We appreciate in advance you supporting the theatre at this time, and we can’t wait to see how the show turns out.
