Shortly after 1:30PM today, officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Crewe Road, west of the Grand Harbour roundabout. A Toyota SUV had been travelling in the westbound lane when it crossed the median and travelled into the oncoming lane, colliding with a Hyundai SUV travelling eastbound. Emergency Services attended the scene and the driver and passenger of the Hyundai, and the driver of the Toyota, were taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the collision, eastbound traffic in the area was temporarily reduced to a single lane. The road has since been fully re-opened.
