| (Alta): In 2011, Gordon and I fell into another creative “spell”. With his paint brush in hand, and wild imagination “Paint meets poetry” was born. A collection of poems which I’d written over several years formed the back bone of our combined exhibition “Paint Meets Poetry”. Gordon’s intuitive, artistic brain went to work. My poems leaped onto his fingers and slid from his paintbrush; my words came alive as they slipped on oil paint and laid themselves as works of art on canvas – primarily in cubist style. It was freeing, and exciting to see my words become paintings, and now my poems accompanied by Gordon’s music, the series has been renamed to “Good Enough to Eat”. For the next 12 months we will share my poems and Gordon’s paintings/musicinspired by them.
