SYNOPSIS

A TROPICAL STORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT

Intermittent showers along with fresh to strong east to southeasterly winds and rough seas are expected across the Cayman area over the next few days as result of the motion Tropical Storm Eta. Radar images show scattered showers in and around the Cayman area which are moving towards the west. The National Hurricane Center in Miami Florida is issuing advisories on Tropical Depression Eta, Which at 1 a.m. was located 17.0 N 87.6 W or about 450 miles west to southwest of Grand Cayman with maximum winds of 35 mph and is moving north northwest at 8 mph.
