Cayman: Collision with Injuries in Cayman Brac

Shortly before 8:00PM on Saturday, 14 November, officers in Cayman Brac responded to a report of a collision on West End East Road, involving a Ford F150 and a pedal cyclist. The cyclist was transported to Faith Hospital by ambulance, and was later transported by air to the Cayman Islands Hospital, for treatment for what appear to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford, who was not injured, was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst impaired. The man, age 51 of Cayman Brac, was subsequently granted bail as investigations continue.
