Crab lovers fly into Jamaica for Crab Fest
Against a backdrop of intermittent rain last year, chefs such as Randie Anderson, of Rainforest Seafoods cooked up a scrumptious delight – which included curried crab and boil crab -for patrons, tantalising their taste buds.
The crab dishes were delightfully paired with boiled corn, dinner rolls, and an assortment of garlic offerings, which made the occasion most memorable for crab lovers.
For the non-crab eaters, who decided to party with the over 400 locals and 40 crab lovers, who flew in from Grand Cayman, The Bahamas, and the United States, the event’s organiser, businessman Busha Clarke, ensured that their palates were satisfied by bringing in a limited amount of spare ribs and steamed fish.
As is customary, proceeds from the event will go to various charities, which is also in keeping with the Clarke family tradition.
