UPDATE: Missing Teen Located

The RCIPS would like to inform the public that Yadira Carter Gainga, who was reported missing on Friday, 1 January, was located yesterday evening Sunday, 3 January and is believed to be in good health. The RCIPS thanks the public for their assistance.

2 January 2021

Yarida Carter Gainga, age 16, of George Town absconded on Friday 1 January and has not returned home or been located since. She was last seen on Friday morning about 11AM at home.

Yarida is of light brown complexion, brown eyes, 5ft 4inches in height and medium built. She has shoulder length, black curly hair.

Officers are encouraging Yarida to return home or attend the nearest police station immediately. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to call the George Town Police Station at 949-4222.
