Cayman: COVID-19 Update 14 January 2021 – ONE NEW positive, 4,096 total number of people vaccinated
The Chief Medical Officer, Dr. John Lee, reports that 206 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since this was last reported on Wednesday, 13 January 2021. One was positive.
The individual is a asymptomatic traveller who tested positive following routine screening. They will remain in isolation until considered recovered.
The number of people in isolation, either at a government facility or in their homes, as required by the Medical Officer of Health, is 1,290.
A further 571 people have received the COVID-19 vaccine since this was last reported on Wednesday, 13 January 2021, including 472 in Grand Cayman and 99 in Cayman Brac. This brings the total number of people vaccinated in the Cayman Islands to 4,096
