Shortly after 5:30AM on Thursday, 15 April, officers responded to a single-vehicle collision along the Queens Highway in East End, west of the Morritt’s Resort.

A silver Suzuki Ertiga was travelling westbound when it left the roadway, collided with the fence and garbage disposal of a property in the vicinity, and came to rest in bushes off the roadway. The vehicle sustained extensive damage.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment for serious injuries, and remains in critical but stable condition.
