Maples and Calder Donates for New School Playground
Maples and Calder recently donated CI$2,500 toward a new playground for the George Town Primary School.
The school’s current playground area and equipment were badly damaged during Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and, to date, have not been replaced. With a new playground the children will have a safe and enclosed play area where they can go between classes or after school.
“We are pleased that we can be of assistance to the George Town Primary School, in getting one step closer toward their goal of building a new playground,” said Jude Scott, CEO at Maples and Calder. “It is important children be given a safe area in which to grow, learn and to play.”
Maples and Calder actively supports a broad range of organisations and initiatives which benefit members of our community, including the youth and the elderly.
