Cayman: Police investigate serious assault incident in West Bay
Just after 8:45PM, yesterday, Monday 24 May, police and other emergency services were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communication Centre to a report of a serious assault that took place in the Mount Pleasant area of West Bay.
The victim of the incident was found with significant cuts to his head and was rendered immediate first aid assistance by the officers who responded to the scene. He was later handed over to the EMS staff that arrived shortly after and was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was treated and has since been discharged. His injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.Â
