Detectives continue to investigate the robbery which occurred on Thursday, 31 May 2012, at the Eastern Avenue Texaco where a lone male entered the store armed with what appears to be a firearm and stole money from the cashier.  The suspect then made good his escape on foot towards the direction of the Swamp.

There were a number of witnesses to the robbery and most of these have been located and spoken to.  However, detectives are aware however that some witnesses have not yet been identified and are appealing to anyone who was in the store when the robbery occurred or who may have witnessed anything suspicious and has not yet spoken to police to come forward.
