West Bay Robbery

Police are investigating a robbery at Hills Grocery and More on Stadium Drive, West Bay.

The report was received at 1147am today advising that a lone male had entered the premises armed with what is believed to be a handgun.

There were no shots fired and no-one was injured during the incident.

Detectives went to the scene and are conducting enquiries into the matter.

GT Texaco Robbery

A 31-year-old man has been charged and is expected to appear in court in connection with a robbery which occurred at the Texaco Gas station in Eastern Avenue on 31 May 2012. He has been charged with robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with intent to commit an offence and theft.

It is anticipated he will appear in 0n Wednesday 13 June 2012.
