Leading travel publication Condé Nast Traveler recently announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards, recognizing the Cayman Islands as one of the Caribbean’s top locales. The leading luxury lifestyle destination was named one of the Best Islands to Visit in the Caribbean and the Atlantic. Well-known for pristine beaches, Caymankind locals, world-class cuisine, exotic wildlife and breathtaking vistas, the Cayman Islands is familiar with accolades of this caliber but following an unprecedented 19 months for travel worldwide, the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism (CIDOT) is pleased to accept the honor from Condé Nast Traveler readers this year.

More than 800,000 travelers submitted responses rating their experiences across the globe to help narrow down the best of the best – from destinations and resorts to airlines, luggage, and car rentals. The Readers’ Choice Awards program is the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry.
