Further to the CITN/Cayman27 report on their “Daybreak” show Wednesday (13) that a Bodden Town football player died after collapsing during a practice.

Police have now confirmed a 20-year-old man collapsed at Hague Bodden football field in Bodden Town last night (Tuesday 13 June) at around 7:40pm. He was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital, George Town, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said there appeared to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

The player was identified as Gerome Graham and he tragically died during a team scrimmage.
