This release serves to inform the community that the employment of the current President and CEO of the University College of the Cayman Islands, Dr Stacy McAfee, will end as at 31st December, 2021.

In 2018, following a process of selection by the former Board of Governors, Dr McAfee was employed on a fixed-term Agreement of Employment for a period of three years. Dr McAfee has decided and given notice that she will no longer continue as President and CEO of the University College of the Cayman Islands. She has indicated that she will be relocating to the USA with her family.

In accordance with the provisions of the Public Authorities Act, the position of President and CEO of the University College of the Cayman Islands will be advertised. The position will be advertised both locally and overseas.
An Interim President and CEO will be appointed to serve until such time as a new President and CEO is appointed.
