Hospitality execs in the Cayman Islands continue their efforts to lure Texas tourists.

Cayman Airways has announced the launch of non-stop weekly service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Grand Cayman starting June 23, and running through Sept. 2, 2012. Fares start at $399.

If you don’t want to sleep on the beach, the Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa is offering a 40 percent discount to Texas residents.

Guests who book at least six nights pay at least $185 per night for the first four nights, and get the final two at no additional charge.
