COVID-19 measures are excluding undocumented people further, says expert The Deputy Director at the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants has urged European countries to do more to ensure all migrants have equal access to healthcare and vaccines throughout the pandemic. Data exposes U.K.’s revictimization of confirmed trafficking survivors
Alarming new data published this week exposes how just 7% of confirmed trafficking survivors from abroad have been granted the right to remain in the U.K. over the past five years. Thousands have had their applications rejected and have faced deportation back to situations of exploitation, despite the government being aware of their status as trafficking survivors.
