A man age 24 of Bodden Town has been formally charged with Attempted Robbery and Possession of a Controlled Drug. The first charge is in relation to an incident on the morning of Sunday, 2 January, 2022, at Coe Wood Beach in Bodden Town. A man was at the location when he was approached by another man who demanded cash and personal items from him while making intimations that he was in possession of a firearm. An altercation ensued and the man then fled the location.

At the time of the man’s arrest he was found in possession of a quantity of ganja.

The man appears in court today, 17 January.
