Live music is finally returning properly for the first time since the pandemic started. And there are all sorts of different artists visiting or touring the UK this year. So much so that the choice is overwhelming! Below, we explore the live music events you should see this year.

George Ezra, Finsbury Park

George Ezra has a packed show planned for Finsbury Park in July. With Blossoms and Holly Humberstone supporting, the English guitarist and singer songwriter is set to wow crowds with an open-air performance. And you can book trains to Finsbury Park to easily get to and from the venue.

Dave, Reading and Leeds festival

Dave has experienced a meteoric rise since his number one album, Psychodrama. At just 23, Dave is one of the most exciting artists in the world right now and he’s headlining Reading and Leeds festival this year. Regardless of whether you opt to see him up north or down south, it should be some show.

Dua Lipa, Cardiff

Wales is being treated to some thrilling live music too. Dua Lipa is performing twice in consecutive nights in Cardiff in April. Dua Lipa won the Brit award for British breakthrough act and British female solo artist in 2018 and has since gone from strength to strength, winning best British album at the 2021 awards. If you want to see one of the most popular up and coming artists in the world, then these Cardiff shows could be for you.

Liam Gallagher, Knebworth Park

Liam Gallagher is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Oasis’ iconic Knebworth Park gigs with a couple of shows this year. With Goat Girl, Fat White Family, Michael Kiwanuka and Kasabian supporting across the dates, Liam has plenty of backup as he embarks on the biggest solo show of his career to date.

All Points East, Victoria Park

All Points East has something for everyone. With dates dotted across August with six different nights, there’s an eclectic choice of acts for you to see. From The National to Disclosure, you’ll never be short of choice. Victoria Park also makes for a picturesque setting for this event, with all sorts of independent food and drink stalls available too.
