Cayman: COVID-19 Update – 23 March, 76 NEW Positives (21-22 Mar), 1 NEW DEATH
Public Health has released COVID-19 figures for 23 March.
Unfortunately, an elderly unvaccinated patient has died, bringing the COVID-19 death toll to 25 in Cayman Islands. This will be reflected in the next COVID-19 Situational Report for Epi. Week 12.
Positive cases reported to Public Health during this period are currently as follows:

There are 465 estimated active cases of COVID-19 in the Cayman Islands. Two patients are currently hospitalised for COVID related causes and of these, both are unvaccinated.
The Sister Islands also noted 3 new cases since the last report, bringing total cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 650.
