Grand Cayman, March 24, 2023– The Department of Environmental Health (DEH) advises the public that its offices and landfills in Grand Cayman and the Sister Islands will be closing at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 for staff to attend the Governor’s farewell by Civil Servants.

Garbage collection schedule for this day will not be affected. Meanwhile, the 24 hour drop-off area at the George Town Landfill will remain open to facilitate the disposal of small residential loads.

The DEH offices and landfills will re-open for normal business on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

The department apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your understanding.
