National Gallery/Seafarers Association event July 19th 2012
The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands are presenting an “In conversation” evening with members of the Cayman islands Seafarers Association. The Seafarer’s will share their first-hand accounts of life at life and to celebrate our maritime heritage.
The event will take place inside the new Founded Upon the Seas exhibition, in the NGCI’s Lower Gallery from 6-9pm on Thursday 19th 2012. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.
The National Gallery’s Founded Upon the Seas exhibition, and related programming, is being held in conjunction with the Seafarers Association, The Catboat Club, The Cayman Islands National Archive (CINA), the Maritime Museum (Little Cayman) and the National Museum. The exhibition is made possible through the generous support of Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Ltd.
