Public Advisory: Police warn of SMS Fraud Campaign

From RCIPS

The RCIPS Cyber Crime Unit is aware of a fraud campaign targeting Cayman National Bank customers using SMS messages. These relate to debit orders or login attempts. The SMS messages then ask recipients to call 1 (888) 958-7985, which is a fraudulent number. Recipients should not call the number in the message. The RCIPS and Cayman National Bank confirm that these messages are fake and attempting to defraud you. The bank will never ask for your PIN, password, or one-time login code in a text message.

If you are in any way concerned about an electronic message received from your bank ALWAYS check directly with them first via an advertised number or personal visit.
