UPDATE: Woman charged with further offenses in relation to Rental Scam

Update (14 June):
The Woman, age 57 of George Town, who was charged earlier this year in relation to a rental scam, has now been formally charged with 31 further counts of Obtaining Property by Deception, each involving amounts of between $700 and $3400 CI.
She appeared in court yesterday, 13 June, and was remanded in custody pending a further appearance on 27 June.
Initial Release, 8 June:
On Sunday, 5 March, officers arrested a woman, age 57 of Bodden Town, on suspicion of multiple counts of obtaining property by deception, in relation to a rental scam involving the purported rental of a premises on Diaz Lane in George Town.
The woman is accused of taking deposits from persons interested in renting the property without actually following through.
The woman has now been charged with five counts of Obtaining Property by Deception. She appears in court today, Wednesday 8 March.
