A man, age 37 of Bodden Town, has been formally charged with three counts of Common Assault, one count of Abduction, and one count of Indecent Assault. The charges are in relation to an incident on 3 May, where it was reported that a woman was approached by a man known to her, who forced her into his vehicle, took her to several locations against her will and assaulted her multiple times. The man has also been charged with one count of Careless Driving in relation to another incident where he refused to stop when signaled to do so by officers.
