Cayman: Police investigate robbery incident in West Bay

Just after 10PM on Thursday 29 June, police were dispatched by the 9-1-1 Communications Centre to a report of a robbery that took place at a store located on Town Hall Road in West Bay, in the vicinity of the four-way-stop.
It was reported that a single male entered the store armed with a knife and demanded cash and other items in the store. He made off with a quantity of cash and boxes of cigarettes, in an unknown direction. No injuries occurred during this incident.
The robbery incident is being investigated by the West Bay Criminal Investigations Unit and detectives are encouraging anyone with information to call the West Bay Police Station at 949-3999.
