Meet the Breast Cancer Foundation’s new Chief Administrator
The Breast Cancer Foundation in the Cayman Islands is pleased to announce the appointment of Beverly Edgington as the organization’s new Chief Administrator. This appointment marks a significant milestone in the foundation’s ongoing commitment to fighting breast cancer and supporting those affected by the disease in the Cayman Islands.
As a long-term service provider and supporter Beverly Edgington brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the Breast Cancer Foundation. Holding a degree in Complementary Medicine, with a specialism in oncology, Beverly previously was a member of the team at the Helen Rollason Hospice (now the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity) where they pioneered the use of complementary and integrative medicine, products and practices used along with standard medical care to help manage symptoms and side effects from cancer and its treatment. Beverly’s training, specialized knowledge, and experience, together with her passion for making a positive impact in the community, makes her ideal for this role.

Together, we will work tirelessly to increase awareness, promote early detection, and provide vital support to breast cancer patients on their journey to recovery.”
The Breast Cancer Foundation expresses its sincere gratitude to Janette Fitzgerald for her leadership and contributions during her 8-year tenure. Fitzgerald’s dedication has been invaluable in furthering the foundation’s mission, and she leaves behind a legacy of compassion and progress.
